Where It All Goes Wrongĭuring the state championship football game, a player from the opposing team gets hurt and Stargirl runs to help him. She joins the cheerleading squad and plays her ukulele with the marching band at halftime of the football games, leading the team to have their best season in school history. She takes a boring town where nothing ever happens and sprinkles a bit of her glitter and ribbons on it, making everyone call her their good-luck charm. She quickly makes the entirety of Mica High School, as well as Leo (Graham Verchere), fall in love with her. Stargirl comes into the story seemingly out of nowhere.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE END OF LOVE STARGIRL MOVIE
The movie is definitely worth a watch - it's VanderWaal's first huge role, and she nails it - but if you want a peek at how it all ends, keep reading for a breakdown. The film, which stars Grace VanderWaal as the lead character, is based on the YA book of the same name by Jerry Spinelli. That real love happens at the right time with the right person, no matter what happens.Disney+'s delightful coming-of-age film Stargirl is every bit of magic we need in the world right now. This may be a tragic love story, but it gave me a clear depiction of the existence of real love.

They may have experienced a big barricade that stopped them in the end, they still have each other’s heart. Even though they are not together physically, I believe that their hearts beat with a single rhythm. No matter how the odds were not in favor with their side, their feelings won’t ever change. In Awiyao and Lumnay’s situation, the beauty of love, real love to be exact, can be seen. It also made me think that, in love letting someone go does not necessarily mean that you don’t love a person anymore it only means that ‘Maybe for now we can’t, maybe someday we can.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE END OF LOVE STARGIRL HOW TO
Loving requires learning how long should a person hold on and when to let go and learning how to accept and well, move on. No matter how heartbreaking the story was, I have to admit that I liked it because it gave me a picture of how love works- that love is complicated, it doesn’t always have a happy ending and just because a person feels mutually as yours you will be together forever because there are a lot of factors to consider that would either make or break a relationship. I know, it might be easy for me to say such, but truth be told that I can’t imagine myself in their situation because I myself wouldn’t know what to do- whether to do what is right in the eyes of the society or to follow what I think is right and listen to what my heart says. Why can’t their society just accept that Lumnay was not capable of bearing a child, that the love that the two felt was real, and that their love was enough to keep their relationship alive and strong? It is so sad to think that they have to ignore what their hearts really want, and act with their society’s norms. I really pity Lumnay and Awiyao because for me, the reason of their separation was unfair. His culture dictated him to do something that was against his will. Given that Awiyao can’t do anything, but to do the right thing as his culture would like him to do. I hate the fact that Awiyao had to leave Lumnay for he needs to marry someone who can bear a child, for him to be socially accepted and recognised as a ‘real man’. And during Awiyao and Lumnay’s time, culture revolves and plays an important role in their lives. Who wouldn’t, right? Considering that you have to stop loving the person who feels the same way as you do because of some barriers, such as culture. Honestly speaking, I haven’t experienced an affectionate relationship with my opposite sex where in your heart beats crazily when you are with ‘that’ person, as they say but if I were in Lumnay’s place I would feel the same way as her. And because of this situation that they are into, Awiyao has to marry another woman, Maludimay. But neither of us can help it.” These are the painful words spoken by Awiyao to express how sorry he was to Lumnay because the two of them can no longer continue the relationship that they have no matter how madly in love they were, for Lumnay can’t bear a child. Right? If ever there are corrections and suggestions, just let me know. Truth be told,I am not really good at expressing myself through writing, but hey at least I am trying to improve myself. Apparently, I was asked by my instructor in Literature 1 to make a reaction paper ( I hate making one) to the story, “Wedding Dance”, written by Amador Daguio- a Filipino poet, novelist and teacher.
